February 5, 2009 - altPOWER President and CEO, Anthony Pereira today received the Transformational Energy Action Management Special Achievement Award for Technology Demonstration “In recognition of outstanding energy management in DOE facilities.” The award was presented to Mr. Pereira by the Department of Energy Federal Energy Management Program for altPOWER’s successful installation of a 205 kW solar power system on the roof of the DOE’s Washington DC headquarters last Summer.
